Why are there two missiles in the SD-10 picture? Are theydifferent derivitaves of the SD-10?

I think the bottom missile in the SD-10 pic is actually a PL-8 short range IR homing missile maybe they are both made by the same company or something and thats why they are in the same display.

The R-73 there with the 3 stripes is actually a training round or dummy missile. Likewise if you see an R-27 with 3 stripes---quite common in many pics of PLAAF Flankers---that is also a training or dummy missile.

Likewise in some Chinese fighter pictures, you will see something that looks like a PL-8 but without the front fins and has a camera on the nose. That's also a training missile that only stays on the pylon and does not fire.
