Yep, that's what I'm talking about. Thanks. Hope we can see the same on WZ-10.

Re: WZ-10 thread

TY-90 is typically carried 4 to a regular pylon.

The stuff on the wing tip look like a red flashlight. ECM?

Re: WZ-10 thread

Looking these photos about the WZ-10 it could be everything from flare/chaff dispenser to the wiring for a launch rail.

I can only support that beg as Your statement contradicts everything we know - or think to know - of the Z-10's genesis so far.

Additional I would like to know more about how this cooperation progressed and why are then so many Western (helicopter) manufactures involved like Agusta , Eurocopter France and Pratt Whitney Canada with the transmission, gear-box and engines if the helicoper should be based on a Russian design as You say !
Why isn't then a Russian engine used ????

Cheers, Deino ... waiting for a reply !

Re: WZ-10 thread

Why would pratt and whitney be allowed to sell its engine to ChangHe for PLA WZ-10, wouldn't congress ban such a transaction.

Re: WZ-10 thread

PW was selling the engine for the Z-10 not the WZ-10. People need to learn the difference between the two .

Re: WZ-10 thread

Has dongfeng got it wrong then as in his mainsite, the new attack copter is designated Z-10 rather than WZ-10??

Isen't the copter that is nowadays called Z-15 once called Z-10 as well? or what copter are do you think the Pratt-whitney engines would have went??
