seemst to be stealthy that helo I think, much more than others of the same class ....

The WZ-10 is a lot better looking design than I thought it would turn out. Those long shot pics don't do it justice. Can't wait to see the next generation. It would really look interesting if that landing gear retracted.

I looked over the photo and have to say it looks a bit like a prop or model.

Does anyone have specs for the AFT-10 missile? I don't think I've heard of it before.

在预先研究方面，六0八所在国内首次初步建立并部分验证了涡轴发动机设计体系，为今后国内自主研发及开展国 际合作打下了良好基础。S863高空、低雷诺数发动机燃烧室关键技术研究重大项目完成了国内首台高空燃烧室 关键技术基础研究、高空全环燃烧室试验件工程设计、加工及全环燃烧室性能试验等创新性研究工作，取得了高空 燃烧室关键技术的突破性进展，填补了国内高空全环燃烧室研究的空白。此外，该所在功重比9一级先进涡轴发动 机预研上突破了核心机及其三大部件试验件的设计和试验技术，为开展高性能涡轴发动机奠定了良好 的基础。

it mentions 608 developing a turbo shaft engine (WZ-9) which first flew (on probably Z-10) last September. Looks like this is the future engine for Z-10.

I guess you are talking about this one? Once this thing is installed, Z-10 will pretty much be the only attack helo outside of Longbow, T-129 and Mi-28N to have it. Even ka-50 and AH-1Z do not have it.

AH-1 is to small to carry long bow type radar without compromise her performance,range and weapon load.

I think a pod-based version of the Longbow radar was once developed for the AH-1Z to be carried on a pylon. What has come out of this?

The second photo looks fake to me. The two helecopters look almost the same except the scale and the rotating positon of the main rotor. The color also looks fake.
