    guys, there is no need to continue this debate about whether they got anything from there or not. It's not going to solve anything, so if we can get back to AWACS, that would be great.

    there's report that Chinese data link system are compatible to Link-W.

    report that detection range against 5 meter rcs is 850km and 0.05 m.rcs is 350~400km.
    is clue whet rf band do the radar operate? L-band? or C band?

    a new picture of KJ-2000 and pictures of Y-8 Battlefield surveillance variant. I think the Y-8 might be the 3rd one of its class.

    battlefield surveillance radar? I don't think so.to date there's is still no official confirmation that the aircraft is battlefield survillance aircraft.from the look of the antenna it look like SIGINT aircraft.

    supposedly a picture of a new Y-8 under construction at Shannxi AC. Huitong noticed the 6 blade propeller, indicating a new Y-8F600 platform for KJ-200.

    Also, possible new high new variant?

    So during wartime a Taiwan operative could just destroy a couple of KJs with RPG from where the pics were taken, awesome.

    There will be better security in times of conflict. For example, more troops will be based around certain bases to improve security.
