according to USAF,no european AESA radar (included the russian)could match the US radar.
RQ your mind is stuck in 1980 You keep saying this BS about software without any proof other than your own prejudice . Are you implying that China is weak in software. How come they can built the 2nd fastest computer in the world?. China successfully put into serial production 3 type of AESA radar You must be in denial

Well...technically the supercomputer is hardware, but Chinese software has probably advanced several paces in the last decade. Software is not like hardware, much easier to leapfrog and advance in.

China did not build much of the hardware on that supercomputer, they were imported. I think he was referring to the software that governs the thousands of processors. Most Western analysts were not surprised by that fact that China had built a supercomputer using so many imported chips, rather they were surprised that China had developed the "secret sauce" i.e. the software to govern them.

China is certainly capable of developing top of the line software, maybe not as good as the west, but close. This argument is irrelevant.

my answer is yes, China did openly admitted there weakness in system integration.
developing solfware for supercomputer and avionic system are different.

In a recent kanwa article, Russian radar designer mentioned that China was trying to sell T/R modules to Russia at a price lower than how much Russia was capable of producing them. That should show people that China is ahead of Russia in this area. It shouldn't be too much of a surprise given how much further advanced the Chinese electronics industry is. Now, whether this has transferred to production AESA radar or not, we can't be certain. But, I would definitely lean that way.
hard to tell, Russian workers are usually pay higher salaries than China, while i do not know the exact ability of both nations, i know very well that Russia is usually underestimated, today Russia has a former USSR company developing microprocessors named elbrus and already has aesa technology œногояде€н‹й п€о†ессо€ п€имƒ‚ на воо€ƒжение - ˜звес‚ия-2000: , *

Russian microprocessor technology is widely used by the main microprocessor companies since Elbrus International sells them technology and and in fact Elbrus international is mentioned in the top 500 list

According to the concept of customers, peak performance of a microprocessor must be a minimum of 150 Gflops (the ability to produce 150 billion operations per second). To achieve such performance will be used from 8 to 12 cores. For control of computers, developed using data processors will be used domestic operating system "Elbrus".

It's the usual bashing, we are better than you because we are much more clever. The claim is that Chinese don't have as good software as the US. Now a very big club is used to convince people of the opposite. Who can run a supercomputer can also develop ber-super-software.

Where is the official news other than chit chat in Chinese BBS provide link
If china can serial produce AESA with 100 scan and 20 track Why is so difficult to program little AESA with only 10 scan and at most 4 or 5 track.

You always giving excuses yea but avionic and computer is different I think that is cop out
