Over at that forum someone started a thread about a replacement for the F-22 a couple weeks back and someone today posted this pic that surfaced today without mentioning where it came from.

Do American planes still used yellow primers?

We should probably troll a few forums saying that the plane is American and see how people react to it.

Remind us to do it when China's B-2 equivilent, or SAC 4-th generation aircraft comes out.

I keep looking at this photo in photoshop. I can find zero evidence of it being fake. Looks awfully real. The only way to know for sure is to get more photos.

We don't even know what aircraft this is or who built it. Kinda amazing. Though huitong did say that the JH-7B prototype may have been built just a few days ago. I think this is the JH-7B...but that designation may turn out to be incorrect.

These are exciting times. I don't think we have long to wait for SAC's plane either. If only they can relax the security at the site... Makes me wonder if SAC personnels read stuff from military forums. They are probably pretty fed up with all the accusations about SAC not being able to innovate. Want to get new picts of our stealth plane? Tough luck.

Any one think that we should start a new thread on this? This plane is obviously not the JH-7 or JH-7A. I suggest we title the new thread "China's mystery stealth plane" before we get more info on it.

p.s. This is like the J-20 all over again except on a smaller scale. Better get used to this soon.

I agree. maybe call it "Fighters Beyond J-20"? So other SAC and CAC projects and the like can be posted there too?

I disagree. This thread needs some activities. Until proven otherwise, we should just assume it is JH-7B and continue the discussion here.

The picture we have correlates quite closely to this well known model, cockpit wise.



If it turns out this thing is real then chances are any picture of a chinese or PLA member of authority looking at a model, we will probably see in a few years ^^

yeah they seem to pass DAS out like candies these days on the chinese built airplanes...

pretty soon a crop duster would have a DAS...
