I've never seen any about China wind tunnel in our forum,but it is important technology for China aerospace.as so far as I know,China wind tunnel construction started from 1964, at that time, China is in a very difficult conditions to started wind tunnel research and construction,from that on, the chines made missiles and fighters started to created from these backward wind tunnels,until now China already has their modern tunnels and advanced fighters,missiles and Manned spaceship.This is a long process, in this thread I would like to see some professional knowledges, as well as related news and pictures.

Can anyone help me out with some information or even confirmation about the Chinese wind-tunnels.

I read somewhere that China aquired in the late 1950's its first high-speed wind-tunnel designated HK-2 from East Germany ?!???

Does anyone know more about that ?
