SU-30MKK with 3 types of missiles. The ones with 3 black bands and 4 black bands looks like new missiles, presumely of Russian origin since SU-30MKK was not wired for Chinese made missiles.
This is a discussion on China Flanker Thread II within the Air Force forums, part of the China Defense & Military category; J16 appeared in this months AFM and it stated that it was derived from Su-30MKK, so J11B is from Su-27 ...
J16 appeared in this months AFM and it stated that it was derived from Su-30MKK, so J11B is from Su-27 and J16 is from Su-30MKK?
also it said its using WS10 engines and article also stated that J31/F60 was using pair of RD-93 engines

can y'all really be questioning as to whether that photo is a ps?
everything about that pic is wrong!!!!
everything!!!!
I think that is along the landing runway and not towards the ski jump direction. The deck just looks curved because of the wide angle lenses used.
The plane in the pic is probably roughly in this position:
Judging by where the white dash line crosses with the yellow dash line and the circular helo marking. Note that there may be some difference in line scheme because this could be from a previous trial (and maybe we can narrow down to which by looking at the painting on deck).
The plane seems a bit high for a touch and go, probably a low fly over.

I agree with your view that the runway shown in the "questionable" photo is actually flat. However, the photo in question shows a solid red line alongside a dashed red line, and I just don't see such a thing in the photo you posted. However, if the deck markings were re-done a couple of times, this may well be the angled deck we are looking at, since other pics also show red lines on the angled deck and yellow ones on the ramp.
